BCPSEA and the Support Staff Education Committee (SSEC) are offering two training courses for Education Assistants:
- Understanding Behaviour & Inclusive Education
This 4.5 hour course covers inclusive education principles, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and functional behavioral assessments to support complex learners. - Understanding Common Medical Conditions
This 4-hour course is intended to provide professional development opportunities for EAs working to
support and become more aware of learners with certain medical conditions.
